Let’s talk about authenticity and embodiment for a moment.
To be acting from a place of authenticity means that at least to a certain extent, there is a depth of self-knowledge.
To know one’s self is to have delved into the depths of who the self actually is.
And to move from that place of knowing.
To move from a place of wholeness.
How does this tie into embodiment?
Well, simple-
To be fully in your body is to be able to feel all the sensations and emotions that move through you in the varying moments.
To embrace embodiment is to come into a state of balance with being in a body, mending the separation that can happen from a lifetime in these times. It’s natural. And.. it’s a worthy journey.
Here’s a short quiz-
Ever felt disconnected from your body?
Or had self-talk about not being good-looking enough or strong enough or skinny enough?
How about experienced doing things you would have rather said no to?
Ever felt uncomfortable in your own skin?
Or like you don’t fully belong somewhere?
There have multiple studies around the importance of embodiment when it comes to living a full and satisfying life.
Living fully in the body allows for more vibrant energy.
To being able to know and communicate one’s needs, desires and boundaries.
To feeling at home in one’s self.
And among many other things, it allows for a deep connection to self.
With this depth of connection and knowing, authenticity is the way that life is lived.
It’s time now to give space to deepening self-knowledge. To being more fully in the body. And moving through life authentically.
