I wrote this piece years ago in the depths of healing my wounds with Women.
It's such a necessary journey to go into in our healing and in order to fully step into what it is to be Woman.
To allow ourselves the Gift of empowered Femininity.
And to release the aches, hurts, betrayals and traumas of lifetimes and generations.
I can guarantee you this began well before your first breath here.
Sister. Mother. Aunt. Woman.
Why weren’t you there for me!
When I had to walk the halls alone.
Feeling within that there was no one there.
Why. Weren’t. You. There.
Why must we move through the pains and sorrows without loving arms to hold us so we need not restrict ourselves from being the full-on mess that life sometimes demands of us.
Why. Weren’t. You. There.
When I needed you.
When I needed to crumble onto the floor as my legs gave out from under me.
When my womb hurt so much my heart ached and eyes stung.
Why. Weren’t. You. There.
When I gathered up my pieces.
Trying my best to remember how they fit as my whole being shook uncontrollably.
As I struggled to compose myself after my world as I’d known it had just shredded before my eyes.
As I pushed down and away the hurt. The pain. The betrayal. The feeling that somehow, I was wrong.
Why. Weren’t. You. There.
To hold space so I could fall apart.
To hold strength as I allowed myself to rip apart at the seams so I could remember the strength of my own bonds.
To hold love as I forgot momentarily what it felt like to be loved. And supported. And to See. As I breathed and came back. To my self. Strongly. Wholly. Fully. Consciously. And because I took back my choice. My power. My Body. Me.
It is time now. Sister. Mother. Aunt. Woman.
We must. Be here.
I see you. I honor you. I love you.

We must come together, now, Woman.
Not because of the gender with which we identify, or that pot of gold betwixt our legs.. But because Human must come together. To rise. To support. To congeal into a form of community that we've barely seen in our modern age.
This goes so much further beyond the occasional phone call with a long-ago friend.. or the random drop into through messenger after seeing a post on facebook.
This goes beyond the blood that runs through the veins of family

This is a piece that I wrote, again, many years ago as I was picking apart and coming to understand what family really means to me.
You could have been anyone, walking down the street.
And yet, you feign to know me.
You call me in and name me family... and sure, I'll play along.
But to me, I don't trust you. I don't know you.
And I love you like I love the next person walking down the street.
With innocence. Purity. And knowing the best for you, with compassion.
I forgive you. For contributing a trigger for me to know:
In my heart, what family truly is to me.
And my dears, you do not feel like family.
Though, you look like a beautiful family!
The disdain. The jealousy. The feelings of unfairness I can feel that you feel.
I took it for long enough.
But no longer.
It is not mine.
I am proud of who I am. And what I've done.
I am completely grateful for those who have played a part in my path.
As I am grateful for yours.
But I owe you nothing. At all.
And truly, I want for nothing. From you.
Those of you who wish to get to know me, by all means.. My heart is open. I am willing to start fresh.
And those of you, shaded by the glasses of your past, I wish you peace. Love. and forgiveness.

Side note: do you ever read back through your writing? And realize how far you've come? How much you've healed and changed. Grown and expanded... and on a meta-level, that your writing has for sure changed.. for the better (;-P) ..(I almost thought about changing it as I typed it out from an old journal.. but I kept it raw. For that's what the emotions were. Raw. Real. and true of a healing heart.)

We get to redefine what our dynamics and relationships mean to us.
Our familial ties.
Or friends.
Our lovers past and current.
Or community.
And who we get to show up as.

So that Even in the moments where we sit in silence, alone and in contemplation. We feel not alone. Because we know beyond a shadow of a doubt held very held we are.
In a way that supports freedom. Liberation. Growth and change.
Individuality and uniqueness meld together as we morph through the varying colors like an iridescence where we each contribute to the beauty of the whole.

It was just some weeks ago (at the time of writing this) that I was sitting on the back deck near the river at my Mother's house in Oregon.
I'd been in it for weeks. Our plans had all changed. Transformation afoot and a portal of leveling up beckoning me forth. It was strong.
Processing and diving deep. Presence and awareness. Compassion and patience.
So I'm sitting there in the cold air, breathing in the freshness of the rushing waters before me and calling in support to help anchor me as I dove into the last deep well before the rise of integration would begin.
Let me just say - I have so much support in the Spirit Realms. Like unwavering, unchallenged support. It's there. Present. Like a comforting and expansive air of ... well, presence. support. guidance.
They show up for me in circle without fail.
And they were there when I called for them. Gathered around me. Anchoring the me I was becoming while creating space for the parts that were releasing to flow freely through the energy field and detach from my experience.
But as I sat in ceremony, held by the team who always shows up for me...
They had another message for me.
More of us need this.
More Humans.
More Women.
Need to come together.
To have unwavering anchors of support as we rise and do the work we've come here to do.
It's time.
I've been feeling this for a while..
But to be honest, I wasn't ready.
I'd been searching for a group I could join. And circle that already existed that I could become a part of.
I reached out to colleagues, friends, and strangers.
Nothing fit. Of the limited options even available, they weren't tapping into what I knew was being asked.
But sitting there on that deck. reprogramming and up-leveling myself in so many powerful ways.
The readiness bloomed.
"Call the council together."
For the realms of humans needs this.
And so those of us that are available, it's time to show up.
In ritual. In support. In service. In receptivity.
To anchor the knowing of who we are in our core.
For it is there that we will journey.
We will hold the knowing of becoming.
As we shed layers and amplify elements that support the world we're in service to creating and being a part of.
We will hold the knowing of who we're becoming.. for when we journey, it is to that version we will return as.
We need this.
The world, planet, people.. need this.
And so I said yes.
